And now for Something Different...
Date: Thu, Apr 3rd, 2008 6:00:01 pm | Location: The Economist, 25, St. James St., London W1 | Speaker: Richard Jones & Adrian Bawtree
Once in a while, the Society produces a meeting with a surprise theme.
This is a participative session. Members and guests will not be asked to embarrass themselves too much but will participate in a session which will demonstrate the power of forms of communication, motivation and relaxation, and how this can be linked in to assessment, and also the attainment of leadership and development goals. The results in terms of improved assessment of a range of abilities and characteristics can be remarkable.
The idea behind the method is not new, but it has been refined so as to provide remarkably accurate results. The Recruitment Society is one of the first organisations to be asked to test it live. Don't miss out. Come and join us to witness this at first hand! As a result, you may wish to adapt your selection processes. We are grateful to the Economist for hosting and supporting this event.
The meeting will run from 6.30 - 7.30. It will commence with pre-meeting drinks at 6.00 and will be followed by refreshments, finishing at about 8.30 pm. Hospitality at the Economist is legendary and another excellent reason for attending!
